Snow Days….

Not that we ever got these that much, while living in CT and working at YALE, but right about now…with all my friends telling me they get to go home EARLY because of the perceived 7 inches of snow that should be hitting the East Coast….I actually miss this crap! HOW crazy am I?

I want a snow day! Please? Pretty Please? (How is it possible that I actually MISS the snow? After all I did was complain!) Well, I know I don’t miss shoveling or driving in it!

I can’t believe I miss it!  🙂

I miss the snow too. My parents are supposed to get about 11″ and they live in central NY. I am pretty excited to be heading home for a White Christmas!

I miss it too — I really do. I’m from Kansas and it was always so exciting to get nailed with a snow storm… And now we’re having the worst weather in like 10 years in Portland but it just isn’t cutting it — nothing is sticking and that’s annoying — those flakes just tease and taunt me.

If it’s any consolation, my grinch of a boss didn’t let us go home today during the massive storm. Instead, he resorted to louder than usual yelling and screaming.
Meanwhile, the entire rest of the building was closed and all of other employees got to go home early, due to dangerous driving conditions. The only thing that got me through the day was knowing that it was my last day EVER at that dreadful place. Whoo hoo! Good riddance!
